No More Cooper Paddle Shifters

MotoringFile reports that paddle shifters for the automatic transmission Cooper R55, R56 and R57 will be phased out with March 2009 production. Paddle shifters will thereafter only be offered on the automatic MCS. Since paddle shifters will only be available on the automatic R57 for a few weeks, automatic R57's with paddle shifters will be extremely rare.

Annual dues are used for the support of Club operations such as reservations, administrative supplies or charity.

--- MEMBERSHIP DUES ---

NORCAL MINIS is open to all and ownership of any MINI model car is encouraged, but not required.

Payment of annual dues is a prerequisite to membership. Membership begins on date dues are received by the club Treasurer and expire on December 31st of the same year.

New members are $35

Renewals are $25, during open enrollment period only otherwise the cost is $35

Members must be at least 18 years of age with legal rights to sign any event disclaimers. One spouse or significant other, per paid membership is considered a member with all the rights and privileges of Club membership.

A MotorSportReg & Facebook account is needed to stay in contact with our club.
