Why Not To Buy A Used Car From A New Car Dealer

A word of caution for those who are considering the purchase of a used car from a new car dealer in today's economy. The Truth About Cars reports that, in some cases, failing dealerships have not paid off existing loans on the vehicles. Consequently, the State won't allow the buyer to register the car or truck. A case in point is now defunct Vacaville Ford-Mercury which, The Truth About Cars advises, is being prosecuted for this fraud by the Solano County District Attorney.
