Why Spend On Innovation When You Can Bail Out Lobbyists?


While the United States hands out tax dollars to failing US automotive manufacturers like drunken sailors on shore leave, little is being offered the small U.S. entrepreneurs who have clearly better ideas for the next generation of personal transportation than the destitute Detroit 3. Face it, do you really believe that a taxpayer subsidized Chevy Volt or Cruze will save GM? Seems to us like money down a rat hole to further line the dens of the politically well-connected.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there are many US start ups with fantastic ideas. However, they must go it on their own - raise their own capital, do without high-powered lobbyists and do without U.S. tax dollars. In other words, they must be capitalists in the true sense of the word. To survive they must come up with an appealing, sensible product, without government help.
