The Key To Teenage Driving
The New York Times has an article on Ford's new "MyKey" technology that was demonstrated at the New York Auto Show. The key to the "MyKey" program is a key fob that sets warning beeps to go off at either 45, 55, or 65 m.p.h. and restricts the volume of the car’s stereo to 44 percent of the maximum volume. It also includes a seat-belt warning system that pings the driver and mutes the radio until both the driver and front-seat passenger fasten their belts.
