The BMW blog has an interesting article on BMW's Project i, a group of efficient solutions for congested city motoring. Project i runs independent of BMW under the supervision of BMW’s CEO, Herr Norber Reithofer. The first prototypes of the "MegaCity Vehicle" are being referred to as the MINI-i and are expected to be publicly available in 2015.
