We're No. 1!

The Auto Channel discusses the conclusions of a report released by TRIP and the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO) that California has the roughest roads in the nation, costing California drivers $590.00 annually in extra vehicle operation costs. Los Angeles, San Jose and San Francisco-Oakland top the National list, with Concord, San Diego, Palm Springs, Riverside-San Bernardino, Sacramento and Mission Viejo also having over 50% of their roads in mediocre or poor condition. “Almost half of the urban areas with the worst road conditions are found in California" according to Mark Watts, executive director of Transportation California.
