Terrabon, a Texas based alternative fuels company (is there such a thing in Texas?), has devised a way to make fuel from virtually any organic matter, including sewage sludge, that acts chemically exactly like gasoline and is compatible with today's cars and energy infrastructure. Terrabon has finished building a facility that produces 300 gallons per day of what is called "green gasoline." Terrabon believes that, eventually, it will be able produce the fuel for $1.75/gallon, well below today's going rate for refined gas.
