The numbers are out on the new MINI One D coming to Europe this September. The car uses a detuned version of the Cooper D's 110HP 1.6-liter common rail turbo diesel producing 90 horsepower at 4,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 159 lb-ft from 1,750 rpm. With this engine that is linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the MINI completes the sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 11.5 seconds and achieves a top speed of 113 mph. But get this, the MINI One D average fuel consumption is 60.3 mpg. Because the mileage is so good we guess there is no chance of seeing it in the US (or is there)?
