William Junge was victorious in his Nevada lawsuit against the Nevada DMV for trying to cancel his personal license plate "HOE" on the basis "that it was a slang term for prostitution." Junge, represented by the ACLU, contended he chose "HOE" for his Chevy Tahoe because "TAHOE" was not available.
