Two special-edition 2010 Cooper hatches, dubbed Mayfair and Camden, each will add $4,500 to the price of a Cooper or Cooper S, have debuted.
The Mayfair trim package has exclusive, optional metallic-brown paint, driving lights, traction control, unique mirror caps, bonnet stripes, sill plates, fender vents, and an anniversary grille badge. It also has a very nice Toffee leather interior.
The Camden has unique 17-inch wheels, a white-silver exterior, a black, white, and teal interior, and most of the Mayfair’s bundled accessories. It also comes with "Mission Control" which monitors everything from the accelerator to the windows that then permits a computer to select from 1,500 phrases to comment on your driving. Some have criticized the voices as "shrill." Check out a few samples for yourself:
