We must make our reservations now!!! Join us for a guided docent tour among the elephant seals of Año Nuevo State Reserve as they come ashore to give birth to the next generation. The guided tour is 2 1/2 hours over moderate terrain (sand dunes.) Children are welcome. Año Nuevo is located south of Half Moon Bay and it will be the central feature of NorCal MINIs' 2010 Elephant Seal Run (more information to be posted next year.) Parking, to be paid at the park, is $7.50 per car. Tours are by advance reservation only and they fill VERY quickly. We will attempt to obtain a tour time as close as possible to 10:00 a.m.
We must purchase these tickets 56 days in advance therefore, you must pay by Paypal by midnight on November 25, 2009, so we know how many tickets to reserve.
For those who do not wish to take the walking tour, the visitors' center is very interesting. In addition, the Pigeon Point Lighthouse is just a few miles north on Highway 1.
