Paolo Turina received a speed camera ticket in Cernusco Lombardone, Italy for doing 616 km/h (383 mph) on his Moto Guzzi motorcycle. Paolo found this to be quite interesting since the world motorcycle speed record is 217 mph set in June by Dani Pedrosa. Paolo contended he was only driving 87 km/h (54 mph) at the time - still in excess of the posted speed limit. The municipality agreed the speed was in error but asserted that the ticket was valid. Turina paid a fine of about $296 and received 5 points against his license.
