This is so wrong on so many levels. Garnet Hertz of the Pasadena Art Center College of Design is turning this arcade cabinet into an actual running car that renders on-screen what's happening in real life using GPS sensors. The GPS sensors from an iPhone are to be combined with software to map what is in front of the vehicle and then the simulated reality is delivered to the screen.
Here is a video that shows how it is supposed to work. We still prefer the low tech windshield.
