BMWBlog reports a rumor that the MINI-i, part of BMW’s Project i program, will likely debut in 2012. UK magazine rumormill AutoExpress even published a story of a purportedly planned John Cooper Works MINI-i variant. The car is supposed to be just over three meters long, with seating for four and will make use of a new 1.5 liter 3 cylinder turbocharged engine.
