BMW Vice President Jack Pitney was killed in a tractor accident on his farm on Aug. 26, 2010 at the age of 47. Mr. Pitney started with BMW in 1995 and was instrumental in convincing the company to sell MINIs in North America. He was also MINI's first U.S. boss.

Welcome to NORCAL MINIS. We are a non-profit group made up of MINI and Mini Classic enthusiasts (you don't need a Mini to be a member!). We operate and have members from all over Northern California, all the way from the California/Oregon border to as far south as San Luis Obispo. All are welcome!
