BMW Vice President Jack Pitney was killed in a tractor accident on his farm on Aug. 26, 2010 at the age of 47. Mr. Pitney started with BMW in 1995 and was instrumental in convincing the company to sell MINIs in North America. He was also MINI's first U.S. boss. [Source: autoweek.com]
