Auto Express reports that MINI will unveil a plug-in electric scooter concept at the Paris Motor Show to compete with a similar concept by Smart. The vehicle, called the "MINI E Scooter Concept," features classic MINI design cues, including the large speedometer, oval wing mirrors and squared off rear lights. The scooter is instantly recognisable as a part of the MINI family. The drivetrain is from the MINI-E - a single electric motor integrated into the rear wheel. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery stored under the seat and can be charged from a standard A/C power outlet via a retractable cable.
