People, people, you have got to pay attention to real world conditions not just your GPS.
UPI.com reports that, Wednesday, a 25 year old Canadian driver, who followed her GPS system into a swamp, had to be rescued from the roof of her flooded car. In the fog and rain she had followed GPS instructions down a narrow trail into the middle of the marsh when her car slid off the roadway and began filling with water. She called 911 but was so lost that rescuers had to keep her on her telephone and have her honk the car's horn so that they could locate her.
