This is the proposed "caution" sticker the EPA seeks to put on gas pumps with the newly approved 15% ethanol mixture. Why a caution sticker? Because pre-2007 vehicles can't use it without damage and BMW says it shouldn't be used in any of its or MINI's vehicles.
In our opinion it shouldn't be a "caution" sticker. It should be big and red with the word "WARNING" emblazoned everywhere. Most would never see this little innocuous caution sticker and, we believe, it was probably designed this way to appease corn farmers in the mid-West.
