Free Pre-Tech Inspections For MINI Thunder II

Mini Thunder II Registration is now open. The track day is Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA, but there are events for the entire 3-day Presidents Day Weekend. There will be three groups - Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginners - who should get 5+ 20 minute sessions, plus instruction, classroom, demo and parade laps. Entree for single drivers is $199 for the day and includes an event T-shirt, breakfast, lunch, and sodas/waters. For those sharing a Mini, the cost is $275 and you will run in a separate group.

On Saturday night there is a BBQ dinner and "Casino Night" at the Park and camping is available at the track with electrical hookups, bathrooms, showers, and BBQ pits.

A certified helmet that meets the requirements of SA 2000 or SA 2005 is required and may be rented for $30 for the day.

In addition, on Saturday about one and one-half hours before the event O2 Motorsports of Redding CA will offer free pre-tech inspections.
