New Jersey MINI-E lessee Tom Moloughney has put 50,000 miles on his MINI E, commuting around 2500 miles a month. His motoring log shows only about a 5% loss in battery power due to frigid weather despite automotive speculation that cold weather would significantly hinder battery power. With upgrades to battery warmning technology cold weather may not be as big an issue for EV's as previously thought.
