Oliveira Earns Two Manufacturers Points For BWRT

Daniel Oliveira for the Brazil World Rally Team won two Manufacturers points by posting the fourth best time in the Power Stage of Rally Spain. That means three of the top four Power Stage finishes were occupied by MINI Countryman JCW WRC cars. Oliveira overall had a diffult weekend after retiring Friday. He said,

"“It was an incredible way to finish this really demanding rally. We lost everything on Friday but we didn’t give up and raced to the end. That’s the most valuable thing. Personally, I’m really pleased with my performance and the way we worked together with Fernando. I’m also really proud of the team. They did a really great job and they deserved these points for the Manufacturers Championship."

The World Rally season end with Wales Rally GB November 11-13, 2011.

NORCAL MINIS is open to all and ownership of any MINI model car is encouraged, but not required.

Payment of annual dues is a prerequisite to membership. Membership begins on date dues are received by the club Treasurer and expire on December 31st of the same year.

New members are $35

Renewals are $25, during open enrollment period only otherwise the cost is $35

Members must be at least 18 years of age with legal rights to sign any event disclaimers. One spouse or significant other, per paid membership is considered a member with all the rights and privileges of Club membership.
