Peterhansel Still First Overall After Stage 9 Of 2012 Dakar

Peterhansel was the second fastest on the sand dune-riddled Stage 9 of the 2012 Dakar Rally. Despite the second place finish he now is less than six minutes ahead of Robby Gordon in his Hummer.

As for the other MINI X-raid drivers, MINI Motorsport reports:

Nani Roma, Krzystof Holowczyc and Ricardo Leal dos Santos finished the day in fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively. Leonid Novitskiy crossed the finishing line in ninth place. This was another great result for the X-raid team, which has four of its five MINI ALL4 Racing vehicles in the top ten. In addition, Ricardo moved up from 15th to twelfth place overall.

NORCAL MINIS is open to all and ownership of any MINI model car is encouraged, but not required.

Payment of annual dues is a prerequisite to membership. Membership begins on date dues are received by the club Treasurer and expire on December 31st of the same year.

New members are $35

Renewals are $25, during open enrollment period only otherwise the cost is $35

Members must be at least 18 years of age with legal rights to sign any event disclaimers. One spouse or significant other, per paid membership is considered a member with all the rights and privileges of Club membership.
