The Southern Star, a periodical from West Cork, Ireland, reports the MINI WRC rally team of Eugene Donnelly and Paddy Toner, driving a MINI WRC JCW, finished the Safety Direct Galway International Rally in second place just 1.3 seconds behind Armagh’s Darren Gass and his Monaghan co-driver, Enda Sherry, in their S10 Subaru WRC. Third place went to Irish Tarmac Rally champions Tim McNulty and Paul Kiely (Subaru), who led for eight of the ten stages, but finished 5.1 seconds behind the winners.
