Pacific Grove "Little Car Show" August 15, 2012

Hemmings Daily brings this car observation opportunity to our attention for next Wednesday:
.  .  . the Little Car Show in downtown Pacific Grove, California, is the Monterey event for you. An event far smaller (pun intended) than anything else during Monterey Car Week, the third annual Little Car Show is limited to the first 100 pre-1970 micro, mini, or arcane fossil fuel-powered cars under 1,601 cubic centimeters and all electric vehicles.

This year’s show will celebrate the micro and mini cars of the U.K., so you should expect to see Minis, lots of Minis. For those who think that the Mini is “just too massive,” the micro car of all micro cars, the Peel Trident, will be featured at the show. Writer Tad Burness and collector Jack Passey will once again be on hand to sign books and hand out awards. The show, sponsored by Marina Motorsports, takes place from noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, with a parade along the waterfront immediately following.
