autoblog discusses the leaked European specs for the MINI JCW GP found by MotoringFile. If they are real, the GP will produce 218 horsepower and up to 206 pound-feet of torque (using an overboost feature), weigh about 100 pounds less than a 2012 JCW; and do 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.3 seconds with a top speed 150 mph. Supposedly it will get fully adjustable coilovers with an aggressive negative-camber front and rear setup to go with specially designed Kumho sport tires; six-piston front calipers and aerodynamics optimizations including a shield beneath the engine, a rear diffuser and a rear spoiler.
