Peaks View is a paved parking area that can accommodate about 43 vehicles. It lies next to a seasonal stream and is surrounded by rolling chaparral covered hills. This parking area is midway from the campground and Bear Gulch and Old Pinnacles parking areas. There is ADA parking, an accessible vault restroom, water station, picnic tables, and spotting scopes next to a bench. Trail access to the Bench Trail, a portion of it is ADA accessible. The Bench Trail connects to South Wilderness Trail, Sycamore Trail, Blue Oak Trail, and Old Pinnacles Trail.
PLEASE BRING A PICNIC LUNCH and folding chairs.
We will have a quick fun trivia game during lunch. After lunch everyone is welcome to explore the park! You can find plenty of maps of the park on the National Parks website.
