Dinner on your own (if you wish to skip the POTLUCK): The restaurant at the park has a great menu, otherwise there are plenty of choices in Dunsmuir and Shasta nearby.
No matter where you dine, raccoons and even bears make occasional visits through this area. Please leave no food in your car and secure all food in cabins/cabooses before heading off to bed.
PLEASE, remember to take all unfinished food you brought with you back to your cabin/caboose. Anything left once you leave for bed must be discarded into the trash by your hosts. If you don’t clean up, you force your hosts to clean up after you. We want to be on vacation – just like you.
