Expanded BMW and PSA Peugeot-Citroen Engine Deal In The Works

MotorAuthority posts this story - BMW and PSA Peugeot-Citroen, already mutually engaged in making MINI turbo engines (which can also be found in a number of other compacts and runabouts), seek to expand their joint venture to manufacture a larger variety of powertrains, including a new hybrid unit. Christian Streiff, the CEO of PSA, is quoted to say PSA also is looking at ventures with other partners, including Ford, for a new range of four-cylinder engines in the 2.0L range.
