TH!NK To Build U.S. Factory

Norwegian electric car company "TH!NK" plans to open a new manufacturing plant and technical center in the United States. It is in discussions with eight states, including Michigan, hoping to host the facility, that will, to start, employ about 300 workers and make 16,000 "TH!NK city" cars a year. The TH!NK city is all-electric and can travel up to 112 miles on a single charge. The car is designed, engineered and produced to have the lowest possible carbon footprint with recyclable plastic body panels and a fully recyclable interior. U.S. first year production is expected to be 2,500 vehicles in 2010.
