The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Autozone, the consumer car parts retailer, has posted a second-quarter profit increase of 8.6% beating analysts expectations. Its Autozone's 10th consecutive quarter of growth - pretty damn good in this economy. The Chronicle also reports that Advanced Auto Parts, Inc. and O'Reilly Automotive also beat market forecasts.
