CHP Wants You To Spy On Your Friends And Neighbors

The California Highway Patrol is asking residents to report California resident motorists who avoid the state's motoring taxes by keeping their out of state plates through its CHEATERS program - "Californians Help Eliminate All The Evasive Registration Scofflaws." Just go to www.chp.ca.gov and provide the state, license plate number, make, model and color of the vehicle, and the date, time and location where it was observed. The CHP would be ever so grateful. However, we doubt that your friend or neighbor will be.
