MINI-E Gets A Bad Review

John Voelcker at theCarConnection.com reviews the MINI-E and is rather disappointed with the car's handling (although he makes clear that he loves the handling of the petrol models). Mr. Voelcker had these beefs about the car: (1) For a car that should have virtually unlimited torque because it is electric there is a lag in power when you floor it; (2) The regenerative braking is so forceful it pitches you forward in your seat; and (3) placement of the battery charge meter directly in front of the driver is disconcerting. Mr. Voelcker awaits the MINI-E 2.0 and hopes BMW gets it right this time.
