A Better Aftermarket MINI-E

Synergy Innovations is bringing a modded MINI-E to the Automotive X Prize Competition. Using their "Synergy Drive" it maintains the general appearance, boot, rear seats and full safety spec., unlike the standard MINI-E. The car has a top speed of 95 mph and a range of between 70 and 90 miles from its 78 lithium polymer cells that pump 288V with a three-phase AC induction motor.
