Olegaard's 210 MPH Bugatti Veyron Speeding Ticket Is A Hoax

The CHP claims Olegaard made up the ticket. The story even made it to TV on Top Gear. The video is on Jalopnik's website. However, the OCRegister did some fact digging and discovered, with a call to the CHP, that the ticket was fake:

In fact, Olegaard was ticketed on April 1 for traveling 100 mph at the same location on the toll road, according to CHP officer Chris Goodwin.

Olegaard was driving a 2004 Infiniti, not a 2008 Bugatti, Goodwin said.
