The Cause Of That Hiss and Rattle Under The Hood

David Prewitt's wife complained of a strange hissing sound coming from under the hood of her GeoTracker. She also noticed "a rope" dangling from the vehicle's undercarriage. It turned out to be a three foot long rattlesnake. Prewitt's boss was able to pull it out by the tail and decapitate it with a shovel. The rattle was given to the Prewitts as a momento.
