GM Outlines Innovations On The Horizon


Alan Taub is the new head of R&D with GM. In a web chat on Tuesday he outlined some upcoming innovations he expects to see in GM vehicles. These include memory materials that will make bumper and body dings a thing of the past; fuel-cell vehicles; and limited autonomy driving on highways by 2015 enabled by a combination of lane-keeping and stop-and-go adaptive cruise control.
