BMW "O-Series" To Be Based On The MINI Platform

BMW has apparently changed its mind and will build a new BMW "O-Series" that will be based on the MINI platform. BMW had previously denied that it would ever build a BMW badged vehicle on the MINI platform. The vehicle to be available in 2013 is designed to go up against the new Audi A1 and the Mercedes A-Class. It will be based on the third-generation MINI. The "O-Series" is proposed to have three body styles - a three-door hatch, a five-door hatch and a two-seat roadster.
