MINI UK Seeks 20 New MINI-E Pioneers

MINI UK needs 20 new MINI-E pioneers for phase 2 of its MINI-E trial tests. The chosen will be able to lease a MINI-E beginning in September 2010 for six months. The lease will include installation of a free home charging point for each car, as well as a network of public charging points, so the cars can be ‘topped up’ while out and about. The car can also be charged from a standard three pin socket. Oxford Brookes University’s Sustainable Vehicle Engineering Centre will manage the research.
