The Auto Channel Reviews The 2011 MINI Cooper D Convertible

The diesel version of the MINI Cooper Convertible is not available in the US. However, The Auto Channel reviews it since, in 2011, it gets a new diesel engine. The engine improves mileage to a whopping 74.3 mpg with a 9.2 second time from 0-62 mph. The Auto Channel writes,
" . . . the new BMW power plant feels more lively and stronger, especially at lower revs. It delivers smooth performance and its noise level is very low. While driving, you hear no diesel sound."
