There are
new photos available at autoevolution of the three e-scooters MINI will introduce at the Paris Motor Show. According to
autoevolution:
The first one (pictured in white and blue) will use the “Ego” name, as it will be aimed at offering mobility for a single person. The second one is called “E” (we are talking about the blue and lime green-finished one), as it is focused on environmental friendliness. The two are joined by a British Racing green two-wheeler, which is the ultra-retro member of the family.
The scooters are powered by a rear hub-mounted electric motor that also acts as a kinetic energy recovery system during the braking phase. This is fed with electricity by a lithium-ion battery pack that is expected to offer a range of around 62 miles (100 km). The scooters should offer a top speed of 37mph (60 km/h) and are expected to have a price of over EUR 2,500 [about $3,350 US.]
