Problems In Dakar Rally Stage 1 For The X-Raid MINI Countryman All4

According to a report from Jon @ totalMINI.com the X-Raid MINI Countryman All4 team during the Dakar Rally  Stage 1 (Buenos Aires-Victoria-Córdoba) was on course for a top 10 stage finishing time when they sustained a broken rear brake disc and were forced to stop and change the component. The disc damaged the wheel and the team lost 57 minutes and 45 seconds to the leader thus slipping out of the top 30 in the overall standings.

At the end of Stage 1, the MINI All4 Racing team is 61st with a time of 3 hours 16 minutes and 17 seconds.
