San Francisco Drivers Spent 49 Hours And In $1,112 In Traffic

The Urban Mobility Report published by the Texas Transportation Institute says that last year an average American spent 34 hours sitting in traffic and paid $808 for this “privilege.” However, the average San Franciscan spent 49 hours sitting in traffic and paid $1,112 for the same “privilege.” Anyone know why it always costs more and takes more time in the Bay Area?
