cars.com's KickingTires blog reports that The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has given the 2011 MINI Countryman its highest safety designation of "Top Safety Pick." The Countryman earned scores of "Good" in front, side and rear crash tests as well as roof-strength tests and has an electronic stability system.
