In an interview conducted by
autocar with BMW’s sales and marketing boss Ian Robertson it appears that the Rocketman Concept may be headed to production. Robertson advised that most MINI concepts do eventually end up in the showroom, and strongly suggested that the Rocketman will also be produced. It could potentially be the cheapest model in the brand’s lineup. Robertson also indicated that the themes presented in the concept preview elements that will be featured in most of MINI’s future lineup.
