On Sunday March 6, 2011, about a dozen MINI braved the rain, fog, wind and rockfalls on NorCal MINIs' Run For Absent Friends to the James Lick Observatory on Mt. Hamilton followed by lund at the Brittania Arms in downtown San Jose. Wildly entertaining, this small group of NorCal MINI adventurers had Tesla, Mines and San Antonio Valley Roads virtually to themselves and got a personal tour of the observatory from the observatory staff.
