MINI Connected In Short Supply

Word is MINI Connected  is in short supply and presently an unavailable option. Cars already ordered by dealers will be manufactured without it, and customers who custom ordered the option are being informed of indefinite delay of their cars' production unless they drop it from their specifications. Some customers are being advised to order MINI Connected + Navigation as it is still available. The unavailability of stand alone MINI Connected is reportedly due to part shortages caused by the Japanese tsunami.
