Straight Out Of "City Lights"

A 1929 Pierce-Arrow Dual Cowl Phaeton, formerly owned by Charlie Chaplin, is up for bid on eBay.

Chaplin bought the vehicle at the beginning of the Great Depression. It later went into the possession of race legend Andy Granatelli’s car collection, before being included in the Automotive Road of Dreams Museum in Orange County, California.

The car is being offered at auction on a "As-Is" basis due to the age of the vehicle and because this car has not been driven in many years. The car has 2,617 miles (4,212 km), but there is no evidence that is the true mileage. It previously had a meticulous frame-off restoration and is a former CCCA 1st Place Concours Winner.

Bidding ends on May 15.
