BMW To Invest $822M In MINI's UK Facilities

BMW announced that it will spend £500 million (about $822 million) over the next three years to upgrade its MINI Plant Oxford in the United Kingdom in order to produce the next-generation MINI. Most of the money will be spent on new production facilities and manufacturing equipment. There was no mention of whether MINI would also be hiring additional plant employees.
