Dichotomous MINI Model Appears In BMW Video

This new German BMW music video/advertising spot contains a glimpse of an unusual clay model that seems to divide a classic Mini on the right side with a new MINI prototype on the left side at about the 1:14 mark. Is this a sneak preview of MINI's design future?
