According to Automotorblog Lotus CEO Dany Bahar claims that his company’s plans are going well but that a break off from the Malaysian owners at Proton may occur. Automotorblog speculates that Lotus could soon be up for sale and in a pretty desperate way. It needs a new cash influx that may only come from selling the entire company, a partial sale, a merges with a larger manufacturer or even an IPO.
